Roster now supports TikTok for both creator growth features. TikTok Creator Discovery helps you find and evaluate TikTok creators who fit your brand. TikTok Spark Ads lets you get a creator’s permission to run their best organic TikTok as a paid ad from their own handle. Both are built on official TikTok APIs.
The short version
Earlier this month we launched Instagram Creator Discovery and Meta partnership ads. Today the same two moves come to TikTok.
TikTok Creator Discovery lets you search the TikTok Creator Marketplace from inside Roster. You can get to know creators through their content, categories and commerce signals, not follower count alone, then invite the ones who fit to work with you.
TikTok Spark Ads lets you find your best creator content, request Spark Ads authorization, and track every agreement in Roster. Then you launch the ad in TikTok Ads Manager.
Both features are available now. You don’t need a TikTok Shop to use either one.
Most brands start their creator program with the people they already have: customers, fans and brand ambassadors. That’s the right place to start. Sooner or later, though, you want to reach beyond your own list. On TikTok, that has usually meant one of two things: scrolling the app for hours, or paying for a database of strangers.
Amplifying what works has its own problem. You spot a TikTok that’s taking off. Then you leave your tools, message the creator, wait for a Spark code, paste it into a spreadsheet, and hope nobody loses the thread before the campaign launches.
“A creator’s TikTok is their work and their reputation. When a brand wants to put spend behind it, that should start with a real ask and a clear agreement. Roster gives brands one platform to build those relationships, honor each creator’s terms and show the value their content creates.”
Creator Discovery now has a TikTok tab next to Instagram. It’s a faster way to find TikTok influencers and creators who fit your brand. It searches the TikTok Creator Marketplace through official TikTok APIs, so there’s no scraping and no rented list of strangers.
Instagram discovery leans on audience and engagement. TikTok discovery adds commerce signals: GMV band, units sold, category and follower size. You can understand how a creator’s content resonates with shoppers before you reach out.

Spark Ads are TikTok’s version of partnership ads. A creator’s organic video runs as a paid ad from the creator’s own handle, so it keeps their voice, their social proof and their comments. That’s very different from a brand ad built from scratch.
Roster handles everything around the ad: which video to boost, getting permission, and keeping the record.
Roster doesn’t run the ad, and it doesn’t read your ad spend or ad performance. Those stay in TikTok Ads Manager. Roster keeps the agreement, the EMV and the referred-revenue story. It also works on creators’ shoppable TikTok Shop videos, not just their regular posts.
Pro+TikTok Spark Ads is included on the Pro plan and up, alongside Meta partnership ads. Learn more about Partnership & Spark Ads
Creator Discovery and Spark Ads work independently. You can use one without the other, and neither requires a TikTok Shop.
No scraping and no rented lists.
Creators approve Spark Ads in TikTok and can revoke permission at any time.
Roster only asks for the access each feature needs, and you can disconnect anytime.
Roster never runs ads or spends money on your behalf.
Roster already runs your creator program as one loop: Discover, Activate, Amplify, Attribute. TikTok now plugs into both ends of it.
Now includes TikTok creators, evaluated on real commerce signals.
New on TikTokNow includes TikTok Spark Ads next to Meta partnership ads.
New on TikTokStill one number: earned media value and referred revenue, across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
This is also why we built Spark Ads into the same platform as your ambassador program. Your ambassadors and creators make the authentic, original videos that paid social needs. Spark Ads gives that content reach, and Roster shows what it earned, so your organic program and your paid program stop living in separate worlds.
Instead of one tool to find creators, another to message them, a spreadsheet for permissions and an ads platform nobody connects back to sales, you get one platform and one number.
No. Creator Discovery searches TikTok’s Creator Marketplace through official TikTok APIs. You evaluate creators on fit and commerce signals, and it flags the people already in your program or already tagging you.
No. You need a TikTok business account connected to Roster. Neither Creator Discovery nor Spark Ads requires a TikTok Shop.
Spark Ads are TikTok’s native ad format for boosting organic posts. A creator’s video runs as a paid ad from their own handle, with their caption, comments and engagement intact, and only with their permission.
A Spark code (or Spark Ads authorization code) is the code a creator generates in TikTok to authorize a brand to run one of their videos as a Spark Ad. In Roster, you request it, capture it against the video and track its status, then use it to launch in TikTok Ads Manager.
No. You launch the Spark Ad in TikTok Ads Manager. Roster finds the content, requests and tracks permission, and keeps the record.
No. That stays in TikTok. Roster reports EMV and referred revenue.
The creator, in TikTok. They can revoke permission at any time.
It’s the same idea on a different platform. Meta calls them partnership ads; TikTok calls them Spark Ads. Roster supports both on the Pro plan and up.
