Integrations
Connect to the stack you already run
Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Wix, and headless storefronts for tracking and discounts. Klaviyo for email and SMS. PayPal and Venmo for payouts. Zapier for everything else.
Shopify installs both tracking pixels automatically, and removes them cleanly.

Integrations are where ambassador platforms quietly fail
Tracking that half works produces numbers nobody trusts.
Manual pixel installs go wrong
A snippet in the wrong template, or loaded through a tag manager that gets blocked, and attribution silently stops.
Discount codes in two systems
Codes created in one place and redeemed in another drift out of sync until nobody knows what is live.
Ambassadors missing from your email tool
If your community is not segmented in Klaviyo, every program announcement is a manual export.
What connects, and how
Three categories, each with a different level of automation.
Ecommerce
Connect Shopify and both tracking pixels install through Shopify Web Pixels, then uninstall automatically when you remove the app. BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Wix, headless Shopify, and generic sites have documented snippets, plus a server-side API route.
Marketing and payouts
Klaviyo syncs your ambassadors as profiles and lets you trigger emails and SMS on Roster events. PayPal and Venmo send payouts directly from Roster using your own account.
Everything else
Zapier connects Roster to thousands of apps on events like application received, application approved, program membership changes, and milestone unlocks. The REST API covers what Zapier does not.
What each integration unlocks
Shopify
Automatic pixel install, discount rule sync, order tracking, customer tagging and metafields, and automated product reward fulfillment.
Klaviyo
Ambassador sync, segment creation, and triggered emails and SMS driven by Roster events, with consent handled correctly.
PayPal and Venmo
Batch payouts from inside Roster with real-time status and returned-payment handling.
CreatorCommerce
Each ambassador smart link doubles as their shoppable storefront, with purchases attributed automatically.
Social platforms
Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X connections that power the social feed, listening, and earned media value.
API and Zapier
Public tokens for browser-side tracking, private tokens for server-side work, and Zapier for no-code automation.
Shopify
The deepest integration, by some distance
Beyond tracking, Shopify brands get discount rules that create and sync real Shopify discounts, customer sync that writes ambassador tags and metafields back into Shopify, leakproof single-use codes applied automatically at checkout, and product rewards that generate orders without anyone touching them.
One caveat worth knowing before launch: if your cookie consent banner is enabled for a region, visitors there must accept it before Web Pixels run — which means before Roster can track or apply a code.

Klaviyo
Your ambassadors, in the tool you already write in
Connect Klaviyo and ambassadors sync as profiles you can segment and message. Roster events can trigger flows, so an approval, a milestone unlock, or a payment can drive an email or SMS written by your lifecycle team rather than a platform default.
Email and SMS consent is passed through properly, so segmentation does not create a compliance problem.

Recommended
Do not install tracking through Google Tag Manager
Browsers and extensions increasingly block GTM, and when GTM is blocked, Roster’s pixels never load. Install directly in your theme or platform template instead. The free Roster Pixel Validator Chrome extension confirms in seconds whether the pixel is installed and firing.
Platform coverage
What is automatic and what needs a snippet.
Shopify
Fully automatic. Both pixels install with the app and remove cleanly.
BigCommerce
Script Manager entries for both pixels, documented step by step.
WooCommerce
Header snippet plus an order snippet in thankyou.php or functions.php.
Wix and headless
Documented, including a Velo backend module for Wix and callbacks for headless carts.
If your platform is not listed, the generic instructions or the API route will cover it.

Questions brands ask
Do we need a developer to install tracking?
On standard Shopify, no. Elsewhere a developer follows a documented snippet once, and anyone on the team can then verify it with the Chrome extension.
Does Roster work with headless Shopify?
Yes. The link tracking pixel is installed manually and order tracking is handled by Shopify Web Pixels, with JavaScript callbacks for applying discount codes.
What does the Klaviyo integration sync?
Ambassadors sync as Klaviyo profiles for segmentation, and Roster events can trigger emails and SMS, with consent passed through.
Is there an API?
Yes, a REST API with public tokens for browser-side tracking and private tokens for server-side work. Never use a private token in front-end code.
Can we connect Roster to an AI assistant?
Yes, through a read-only MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT, and Codex. It is currently in closed beta — ask your CSM.
